About Me

I'm an Agriculture student at the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu Nepal. I work at Shree Nawajeevan Secondary (Plant Science) School at Kakani Rural Municipality-06, Nuwakot as an agriculture instructor. I'm a volunteer at YouthMappers and also an active memeber of OpenStreetMap. I'm highly interested in working with data (Spatial and non-spatial), I have done few work on GIS and Remote Sensing which are under publication. I'm familiar with R, ArcGIS, JOSM,GoogleEarthengine, and have basic knowledge on Python, HTML, CSS and SQL. Currently I'm learning Machine Learning and AI from different platform. My Work

Sunflower Project

In Kakani it was believed that it's hard to grow sunflower here but with our work we produce huge amount of flower size in sunflower. These days many people are attracted to this sector.

HoneyBee Project

Kakani is a hilly region and its suitable for the farming of asiatic honey bee Apis cerena. We have more than 20 hives and we provide trainings related to bee management, queen production and bee hive manufacture.

Strawberry Project

Strawberry is one of the most delicious fruit in the world but it is very hard to keep it for long time. Kakani is very famous for the production of strawberry and rainbow trout fish. We help people with training on strawberry farming and also supply saplings to them.

Lettuce

it is one of the most comsumed salad leaf vegetable in the world. we provide seasonal fresh lettuce to our consumer. We grow more than five varieites of lettuce in our farm.

PrettyMaps

PrettyMaps is a python package that help us to visualization of our city maps very easily and in a beautiful manner. I created this map of Kathmandu city using preetymaps package that take data from the OpenStreetMap.
